Breanna Collins

Softball Instructor

Bre has played softball for over a decade and has recently ended her collegiate career in 2022. Bre has always loved the game of softball and enjoys getting to help others mentally and physically to love the sport as much as she does. She works to form a relationship and connection with each student she works with, while also offering mental health support for any students who may need it.

Bre attended Denmark high school where her team advanced  to the state tournament in 2018 for the first time in 21 years. She batted .500  her senior year and was a unanimous first team all conference selection as an outfielder. She also received all-conference honors sophomore and junior year.  She spent her first 2 collegiate years at Rock Valley College playing for a National Championship team. Rock Valley ended up winning their 6th straight national championship in May of 2019. Covid ended their second season short. Bre then transferred to Rockford College and had a successful career batting collectively .400 while earning NACC player of the week honors and breakout player of the year honors.

Bre has been coaching at Velocity since 2022, working with all ages! Bre currently offers private hitting lessons under the velocity website.  She can also be found working in the strength and conditioning classes that are offered during our winter months. Bre works with both baseball and softball players throughout the winter months.
