Milwaukee Facility Lead Hitting and Catching Instructor

Chris Angelopulos began coaching for Velocity in 2022 as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee 16u National team under Kayla Konwent. Chris has coached explosive hitting and arm care classes, showcasing her knowledge of catching, fielding, and hitting. She also offers personal catching and hitting instruction in Slinger and Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Chris attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she graduated with a degree in Communication Science & Rhetorical Studies while also playing collegiate softball on the Badger softball team from 2019-2023. She was a three-year starter for the Badgers, making 130 starts at catcher, totaling 565 put-outs, and hitting ten home runs over the course of her career. Chris was also named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team in 2022 and 2023. Her educational and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison provided her with the necessary skills to teach and coach the next generation of athletes looking to further their athletic and educational careers at the collegiate level.

Outside of coaching, Chris is actively pursuing her Master's Degree in Secondary Education to become a high school teacher in the future. She is very excited to continue to work with dedicated and passionate athletes, helping them improve on and off the field.
