Kayla Konwent began doing lessons in 2018 and started coaching in 2019. She started with Velocity in 2023. Her ability to cultivate relationships with the girls has allowed her to teach the girls the game at the highest level. Her specialty is power hitting, and has been helping girls achieve their dreams of playing collegiate softball since she has been added to the staff. In addition she has done hitting and defensive camps all around the state of Wisconsin and some in Illinois.
Kayla went to the University of Wisconsin and during her time she was a two-time All-American and Big Ten player of the year in 2019. At Wisconsin, she discovered what her true passion is, and that is serving the next generation of softball players. Being able to share her experiences and knowledge to help them succeed at the highest level, both on and off the field!
Kayla Graduated with her masters degree in Sports Leadership. Her thesis was written on hitting and how it helps transform hitters to become more powerful and consistent at the plate, as well as how it improves girls in their mental approach to the game.
She is excited to used what I’ve learned over the years to help these girls achieve greatness both on and off the field!
Kayla handles the day to day operations at our softball facility in Slinger as well as hitting lessons.
